Vintage 1930s beaver fur coat with rabbit fur collar, fox fur flounce at the hem, and leather trimmed pockets, cuffs, and front. The coat closes with a large snap at the neck, a hook and eye at the shoulder, and three hinged hook and eye closures that snap closed, with three decorative wooden buttons. It is fully lined with embroidered satin brocade. Inside the coat there is a breast pocket with an incredible example of an early type of zipper, manufactured by Flash, with a continuous metal coil instead of individual teeth.

Condition note: The rabbit fur collar has moderate wear, and in general the coat has some scuffing and a few imperfections. It is still in great condition for its age, soft, flexible, and very wearable. The leather is still fairly soft, and could be further softened with conditioning.
