Vintage 1970s maxi dress in solid black polyester, featuring an attached floral print cape which creates a similar effect to flutter sleeves.
The dress has a deep V neckline with a fitted, gathered empire bodice, while the cape overlay covers the shoulders and upper arms, tying at the back of the neck. The cape features a bold pink, red, and purple rose print on a background of scattered flowers. The dress itself is sleeveless beneath the cape.
The fitted bodice gives way to a flowing A-line skirt, creating a dramatic silhouette that skims the body through the waist before sweeping out to the floor.
The dress closes in the back with a cotton twill zipper.
