These are the measurements we use to determine each item’s approximate size. They represent the item’s measurements, not body measurements.

How we measure
The measurements in each listing represent the garment’s measurements, not body measurements. Here’s how we measure our vintage clothing:
Dresses
Dresses are measured at the bust, waist, and hips. We also measure the length from the shoulder to hem, and the sleeve length from shoulder seam to sleeve cuff.
Tops
Tops, blouses, and sweaters are measured at the bust and waist. We also measure the length from the shoulder to hem, and the sleeve length from shoulder seam to sleeve cuff.
Lingerie
Lingerie (nightgowns, robes, pajamas, etc.) are measured at the bust, waist, and hips. We also measure the length from the shoulder to the hem, and the sleeve length from shoulder seam to sleeve cuff.
Skirts
Skirts are measured at the waist and hips. We also measure the length from the waist to the hem.
Pants
Pants are measured at the waist and hips. We also measure the length from the waist to the hem, and the inseam from the top of the inside leg seam to the hem.
Shorts
Shorts are measured at the waist and hips. We also measure the length from the waist to the hem, and the inseam from the top of the inside leg seam to the hem.
One-pieces
One-pieces, rompers, and jumpsuits are measured at the bust, waist, and hips. We also measure the length from the shoulder to hem.
Coats
Coats and jackets are measured at the bust, waist, and hips. We also measure the width across the shoulders from seam to seam, and the sleeve length from shoulder seam to sleeve cuff.
Hats
Hats are measured for the circumference around the head, as well as their height.
Gloves
Gloves are measured from the cuff to the tip of the middle finger, and across the widest part of the palm.
